Pro Habit Tracker (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application (Pro Habit Tracker, package: com.bfs.simplehabittracker.habitcalendar) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application on Android and iOS platforms.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information You Provide to Us
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following information:
- Account Information: When you register or sign in (via Email, Password, or Google Sign-In), we collect your display name, email address, profile avatar image, and a unique user identifier (UUID).
- Habit & Productivity Data: Habits, daily routines, tasks/todos, reminders, categories, completion logs, notes, moods, and streak records created within the App.
- Guest Mode: If you choose to use the App as a Guest without creating an account, your habit and productivity data is stored strictly locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
B. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically by third-party services:
- Device & Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, language settings, and general interaction with App features (via Firebase Analytics).
- Diagnostic & Crash Data: Crash reports, stack traces, and system performance metrics (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us troubleshoot bugs and improve app stability.
- Advertising Identifier (AD_ID): Advertising ID is collected to deliver non-personalized or personalized ads through Google AdMob (where applicable and in compliance with Google Play Developer policies).
C. Financial & Purchase Information
- Subscriptions and in-app purchases (Pro/Premium features) are processed entirely by the Google Play Billing System and managed via RevenueCat.
- We do NOT collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or any payment credentials.
2. Permissions Used by the Application
The App requests the following permissions only when necessary for core functionality:

USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT | For optional App Lock / PIN security. Biometric data is processed 100% locally by your device OS and is NEVER accessed, stored, or transmitted by our App. |
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | To enable cloud data synchronization, user authentication, remote configuration, and ad loading. |
AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) | To enable Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve advertisements according to Google Play policies. |
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Core Functionality: To provide, operate, and maintain your habits, reminders, todos, routines, and calendar streaks.
- Cloud Synchronization & Multi-Device Sync: To backup and synchronize your data across multiple devices when logged in to your account.
- App Security & Authentication: To verify user identities, manage user sessions, and secure your account.
- App Improvement & Bug Fixing: To analyze app performance, fix crashes, and enhance user experience.
- Customer Support: To respond to user inquiries, bug reports, and support requests.
- Advertising: To display banner, interstitial, or native ads in the free version of the App.
4. Third-Party Services & SDKs
The App integrates trusted third-party SDKs that may collect data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:
- Google Play Services & Google Sign-In: Authentication and system services.
- Google AdMob (Mobile Ads SDK): Monetization and advertisement delivery.
- Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Auth): Crash reporting, real-time analytics, and dynamic app settings.
- RevenueCat: In-App purchase validation and subscription lifecycle management.
- OneSignal: Push notification delivery.
5. Data Retention and Account Deletion
Data Retention
- Your habit and productivity data is retained as long as your account remains active.
- If you use the App in Guest mode, your data is stored locally on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App.
Account & Data Deletion (Google Play Policy Compliance)
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:
- In-App Deletion: Open the App > Go to Settings > Account > Tap Delete Account. This will immediately delete your user profile, synced habits, tasks, reminders, and cloud backups from our servers and local database.
- Contact Deletion Request: You may also email us at brainfleck@gmail.com (replace with your support email) with the subject “Account Deletion Request”, and we will delete your account and data within 30 days.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data:
- All communication between the App and our backend servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
- Local databases are stored in private app sandboxes inaccessible to other applications.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete such data from our servers.
8. International Data Transfers
If you access the App from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across international borders. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
